Ares Infinity Drill
How to Play
Purpose:
Use smooth pursuits to follow an infinity (figure-8) path while maintaining clear recognition.
Instructions:
- Start at the single center character.
- Read each character around one loop, cross the center, read the second loop, then return to the center.
- At the final character, press Start / Stop and record your time.
- Use Regenerate to reshuffle the same size; Exit to pick another size.
Eyes in Action
Smooth pursuits along a continuous infinity path with small saccades at each character,
plus re-fixation at the crossover in the center.
Brain Systems
Frontal eye fields & parietal cortex for trajectory planning, cerebellum for timing,
and dorsal visual stream for tracking motion-like sequences across both loops.
Sport Transfer
Following looping puck/ball paths, off-ball cuts, or racing lines that cross midline,
while decoding jersey numbers or landmarks at high eccentricities.
